The Production Lead is responsible for promoting a safe work environment and ensuring adherence to production and control standards. The role requires maintaining a quality level of 97% or greater and ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) of 97% or greater with no past dues. The Production Lead will also ensure that turnaround time (TAT) meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations, specifically maintaining a TAT for the front-end processes of 72 hours or less. This position involves representing the department in Tier 1 and 2 meetings during the absence of the supervisor, allocating resources to mitigate risks to the production schedule, and assisting in the creation of rework operations when necessary. The Production Lead will coordinate with other areas to meet business goals, ensure equipment is operational, and maintain the availability of materials and supplies for daily plans. Additionally, the role includes mentoring and coaching production staff, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and enforcing adherence to quality control policies and procedures. Regular attendance, punctuality, and a willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, are essential. The Production Lead must also adhere to the Corporate Code of Ethical Standards and engage in outside training to improve performance skills.
