About The Position

AMVAC Chemical Corporation, an American Vanguard Company, is seeking a Chemical Packager to join our manufacturing team in Axis, AL. The Liquid Packaging position plays a key role in supporting safe, efficient chemical packaging operations at our Axis, AL facility. Requirements

12-hour rotating shift: Days and Nights. Including weekends and occasional holidays with shift differential.
Physically able to safely lift 70 lbs., climb stairs, and wear respiratory protection
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to safety and compliance
Must pass a drug screen, pre-employment physical, and background check
Participation in monthly safety blood draw program required

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain packaging equipment
Monitor plant conditions and report issues
Package materials in designated areas (Drumming, Bottling, Synthesis, Warehouse)
Perform housekeeping and support tasks during downtime
Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies
Perform permit work, (Fire Watch, Hole Watch, Bottle Watch)
