Under close supervision, carries out the more routine duties associated with the packaging and labeling of hazardous chemicals. Key Responsibilities · With an assigned work order, physically weighs out and prepares finished inventory for back orders and stock. Materials may be hazardous but will have basic packaging information such as “HOOD/STABLE”, “HOOD/ARGON”, and “GLOVE BOX”. · Responsible for matching up labels with the correct bottles, labeling bottles and putting them away in the appropriate locations. · Completes all required paperwork accurately and in full. · Responsible for end of day cleanup. Duties include trash, washing utensils, cleaning hoods and sashes, and sweeping the floor in the Packaging department. · Performs other related duties of a similar nature and complexity as requested.
