Ready to take the next step in your career 2026 ? As Chemical Operator at Arxada you’ll play a key role in creating specialty chemistry that impacts industries around the world. This position works a rotational schedule to meet maintain 24-hour operation of the manufacturing processes and is located at our Rochester, NY plant.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Will consider entry level candidates.
- Familiar and comfortable with computers, and hand tools.
- May be required to work overtime as needed.
- All candidates must be able to work rotating shifts
Nice To Haves
- Preferred Associates degree.
- Chemical manufacturing or chemical experience background highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of assigned process areas such that all regulatory, health, safety and environmental requirements are satisfied.
- Must acquire a working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and ISO requirements.
- Will handle hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste during the normal operation of this position.
- Constantly striving to improve process knowledge, obtain new certifications and maintain existing certifications.
- Informs supervision in a timely manner of conditions which may affect safety, quality, capacity or cause a process equipment hazard.
- Planning and responding to emergencies that involve hazardous waste.
