Ready to take the next step in your career 2026 ? As Chemical Operator at Arxada you’ll play a key role in creating specialty chemistry that impacts industries around the world. This position works a rotational schedule to meet maintain 24-hour operation of the manufacturing processes and is located at our Rochester, NY plant.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Will consider entry level candidates.
  • Familiar and comfortable with computers, and hand tools.
  • May be required to work overtime as needed.
  • All candidates must be able to work rotating shifts

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Associates degree.
  • Chemical manufacturing or chemical experience background highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for safe and efficient operation of assigned process areas such that all regulatory, health, safety and environmental requirements are satisfied.
  • Must acquire a working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and ISO requirements.
  • Will handle hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste during the normal operation of this position.
  • Constantly striving to improve process knowledge, obtain new certifications and maintain existing certifications.
  • Informs supervision in a timely manner of conditions which may affect safety, quality, capacity or cause a process equipment hazard.
  • Planning and responding to emergencies that involve hazardous waste.
