Chemical Operator, 2nd Shift
About The Position
As a Chemical Operator you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives! Primary Responsibilities Functions include setting up, filling, mixing and/or delivering production chemicals used in a manufacturing or process area where accuracy of chemical composition is important (e.g., wafer, ink toner, media) in process operation. Reads and comprehends from written and verbal instructions on work orders (after trained). Removes and disposes of waste chemicals, solvents and acids per the understanding of Haz Com training . Performs basic maintenance (TPM) of production equipment, cleans pots and tanks for production. May be required to assist in chemical spills.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
- Must be able to be certified/pass medical test to wear a respirator.
- Must be able to pass basic math test.
- Must be able to be certified as a forklift driver.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
