As a valued member of our team, youll receive a very competitive starting salary package that ranges from $22 to $24 per hour PLUS shift differentials of $1.25/hour (2 nd shift) and $0.75/hour (3 rd shift). Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
  • Basic math skills which include knowledge of weights and measures.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain sit-down forklift certifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of process equipment, including reaction systems, distillation systems, filters, reactors, pumps, and centrifuges in compliance with prescribed operating procedures.
  • Load and unload raw materials, intermediates, and finished products into and out of process equipment.
  • Set up and adjust indicating and controlling devices.
  • Monitor and record reactions, noting changes in chemical and physical properties and compositional changes of substances.
  • Adjust valves and controls to maintain system at specified temperature, pressure, and vacuum levels.
  • Maintain log of gauge readings, shift production, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot process and/or equipment problems.
