Requirements
- Completion of any relevant manufacturing training requirements.
- Completion of operations and safety training matrix and schedule.
- Demonstrates a professional, team-player attitude toward work and co-workers.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Must operate with a sense of urgency.
- Able to understand and perform basic math.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of process order documentation.
- The compounding of certain batches in Mixing includes the need for a respirator as part of the required PPE
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the solvent metering system where applicable.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the different chemistry base types at Henkel Cleveland.
- Able to lift 60 pounds repetitively and up to 70 pounds on an occasional basis.
Responsibilities
- Operates machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions.
- Sets up or adjusts equipment according to manufacturing specifications.
- Monitors the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufacture faulty products.
- Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.
