Job Summary As a Chemical Mixer, you will be responsible for safely and accurately mixing chemical batches according to established procedures. This includes operating mixing equipment, monitoring processes, recording chemical usage, and ensuring product quality. You will also perform routine testing, maintain inventory accuracy, and comply with all safety and company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years in high-volume manufacturing required; 1+ year in chemical processing preferred.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs multiple times daily.
  • Stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Perform repetitive bending and stretching.
  • Wear and maintain PPE; follow area-specific PPE rules.
  • Contact lenses prohibited.
  • Ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math and hand tool proficiency.
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Integrity, teamwork, adaptability, planning, and drive for results.

Responsibilities

  • Operate mixing tank controls, set blade/pump speeds, and monitor water temperatures.
  • Read and follow Product Instruction Sheets and batch sheets precisely.
  • Monitor tank scales and ensure proper operation.
  • Record chemical usage and adjustments per lab or pH balance requirements.
  • Inspect, clean, and tag holding tanks; transfer finished batches as scheduled.
  • Verify raw materials before use and transact SKUs in SAP.
  • Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory in SAP.
  • Retrieve and return raw materials as needed.
  • Test samples per SOPs and SKU requirements.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
