Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3–4 years of batch mixing experience (hand cleaner or related chemical manufacturing preferred)
- Strong computer skills and comfort working with manufacturing software
- Lift truck certification (low-lift, fork-lift, and high-lift)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy and consistency
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Responsibilities
- Accurately measure, weigh, and add chemical raw materials (manual & automated processes)
- Manufacture materials according to batch cards and mixing work instructions using computer systems
- Read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Perform routine batch quality checks to ensure product integrity
- Monitor mixes and shut down operations if specifications are not met
- Sanitize mixing equipment per scheduled work instructions
- Assist in training new mixers and support other production lines as needed
- Promote, follow, and recommend improvements to safety procedures
- Support general manufacturing operations as required
