About The Position

Chemical Mix Tech II The Chemical Mix Tech II is primarily responsible for producing parts that meet cosmetic requirements and standards. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate Bead Blast Operations. Operate centrifugal finishing equipment. Operate Vibratory finishing equipment. Operate buffing equipment. Plug and mask parts per print for all mechanical and chemical finishing operations. Operate chemical finishing operations such as Type II passivation, clear coat anodize, hard coat anodize, etc. Sustains and maintains 5S standards and all continuous improvement activities. Perform Equipment PM’s Ability to produce parts with Zero defects Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions and procedures Ability to work at established production rates. Ability to rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes and perform tasks in a cell/team environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, specifically in finishing and/or coating processes.
  • Professional experience reading instructions, schematics, and blueprints.
  • 6 months operating various types of production equipment and using gauges and other measurement tools such as calipers.

  • Ability to learn and become proficient in metals finishing/plating.

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
