About The Position

Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Chemical Manufacturing Technician. This position will be located in Rolla, MO. This is a weekend shift position, must be available Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Summary: Chemical Manufacturing Technicians and Specialists play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, adherence to quality standards, and timely production of high-quality products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and Minimum 2 years of related technician experience or An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Execute assembly and chemical production tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Follow stand operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in the chemical manufacturing process.
  • Monitor and report any deviations or defects in the chemical manufacturing process.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including equipment logs, quality reports, and inventory documentation.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to document and address any nonconformities.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Operate process related chemical manufacturing equipment such as pumps, compressors, and valves in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, considering chemical hazards and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues.
  • Monitor chemical manufacturing process equipment and conditions including process levels, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
  • Assist and prepare intermediate or finished product synthesis, formulation, purification, bottling, labeling, and packaging.
  • Interpret test results on chemical materials and products and compare against specifications.
  • Observe chemical materials and process behavior.
  • Identify nonconformities and act based on control plans or material review.
  • Comply with cleanroom protocols and perform general housekeeping tasks and clean-up procedures.
