About The Position

We are seeking a Chemical Laboratory Manager to support our advanced R&D and manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and organized chemical-handling areas while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. As the Chemical Lab Manager you will maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) records for all chemicals, oversee chemical purchasing and provide safety consultations for new projects, and manage chemical waste handling and disposal. The position also includes operation and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, including (but not limited to) Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), UV-Vis Spectroscopy, FTIR Spectroscopy, Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Additionally, you will contribute to applied R&D projects by supporting experimental design and execution.

Requirements

• BS in Chemistry preferred, OR AS in Chemistry plus 3+ years of laboratory/chemical hygiene experience.
• Hands-on laboratory experience required.
• Familiarity with chemical hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• U.S. Citizenship (required by ITAR regulations).
• GPA > 3.3 at all degree levels.
