Attendance is critical to our success and it is tightly managed. Job Purpose & Responsibilities: Production chemists use their knowledge of chemicals and composition to help produce various products used in the plating industry. They work with production staff to ensure that production meets all deadlines, as well as quality standards. This is a manufacturing environment, not a biological environment, where work is done in the shop to collect samples from tanks, etc. Perform titrations, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer analysis, Salt Spray testing, and other analysis and testing as needed Maintain and document chemical analysis & material usage Assist Lab Manager in training personnel Assist Lab Manager in scheduling bath changes, treatment, addition, and preventative maintenance Research and develop new products from chemical suppliers Troubleshoot production line chemical problems in a timely manner, involving suppliers as necessary Develop and maintain written procedures for all chemical activities and analysis Keep work areas, lab equipment, floors, countertops, cabinets, etc. clean Organize and maintain lab supplies What are we looking for? Requirements
