The Environmental Health and Safety office is seeking a Chemical Hygiene Officer (CHO) to manage a comprehensive campus-wide chemical safety program for the University of Iowa. The CHO will provide consultation and training to chemical users for the safe use, storage, transportation, and disposal of chemicals; assist departments and units possessing chemicals with emergency preparedness planning; conduct site inspections and audits of areas possessing and disposing of chemicals. This position reports to the Director of Environmental and Safety Office within the University of Iowa. Work Modality: Hybrid, within Iowa.
