About The Position
The College of Engineering Robert V. Waltemeyer Department of Chemical Engineering in collaboration with the Materials Research Institute, is seeking applicants for part-time job of research assistant in the research group of Professor Gina Noh at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park campus. Job duties to include: Explore hydrothermal synthesis of crystalline oxides with tunable morphology toward CO2 capture Use techniques, but not limited to, spectroscopy (FTIR, Raman), XRD, and TGA in collaboration with Dr. Jordan Meyet at the Materials Characterization Lab
Requirements
- Be interested in learning materials synthesis and characterization
- Have knowledge of general chemistry and organic chemistry principles
Responsibilities
- Explore hydrothermal synthesis of crystalline oxides with tunable morphology toward CO2 capture
- Use techniques, but not limited to, spectroscopy (FTIR, Raman), XRD, and TGA in collaboration with Dr. Jordan Meyet at the Materials Characterization Lab
