About The Position

We are seeking a Chemical Engineering Intern/ Part time to assist with developing, implementing and optimizing coatings processes and formulations in our manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals and coatings processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Effective communicator, able to work well in a team setting.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or U.S. Person).

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting issues, conducting tests, maintaining equipment, and documenting processes.
  • Conduct inspections and testing of coated materials to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for paint-related defects and suggest corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and production data.
  • Prepare technical reports and data as it relates to projects and assignments.
  • Contribute ideas to refine designs and improve performance while developing your own technical skills.
