  • Assist with technical and economic evaluations of alternative processes, additives, etc.
  • Assist with process safety, ergonomics, OSHA, MSHA, ISO 9001, environmental agencies, applicable codes, and regulatory agencies
  • Assist in implementing CAR's and PAR's
  • Ensure projects comply with Corporate Operating Standards
  • Investigate/resolve customer complaints at plant level
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and develop process control mechanisms
  • Execute projects in support of capital plan including project leadership
  • Track/optimize process additives
  • Train/teach operators about new processes and process improvements
  • Participate in site hazard reviews
  • Assist in generation of plant efficiency reports
  • Support/lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Monitor Safety and Environmental Compliance
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in Chemical Engineering or related engineering field
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Ability to fit test for required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Chemical Engineering experience, including internships, in a heavy manufacturing or chemical processing industry
  • ERP experience, with SAP and/or Oracle
  • OSIsoft PI experience
  • Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience
