About The Position

In this co-op role, you’ll partner with experienced process and production engineers to make a real impact on how our site runs every day. You’ll help drive projects that improve productivity, reduce waste and energy use, and support our sustainability goals. Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI) tools, contributing directly to meaningful operational results while building valuable skills for your future career.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications
• Exhibits teamwork and interpersonal excellence
• Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities in a short period of focus

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across the full operations of a chemical manufacturing facility—learning how products are made, optimized, and delivered safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate in innovation sessions focused on product and process improvement, sharing your ideas to help drive real change.
• Lead 2–4 meaningful productivity projects designed to deliver measurable cost savings and improve production performance.
• Support sustainability initiatives by developing and implementing actions that reduce waste and environmental impact.
• Work alongside site leaders in Waste Reduction, Utility Optimization, and Sustainability to identify and execute high-impact projects.
• Own 2 site-specific projects centered on utility efficiency and waste reduction, contributing directly to our long-term sustainability goals.
