About The Position

The Senior Chemical Engineer at SAIC is responsible for designing and initiating processes for the manufacturing of chemicals and related products. This role involves strategic planning, technology road mapping, and conducting research to develop new and improved chemical manufacturing processes. The engineer will also perform tests throughout production stages and carry out human health impact analyses, ensuring safety procedures are developed for workers involved in chemical operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• 18 years or more of experience in chemical engineering or related fields.
• Expertise in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly processes.

• Experience in shop-floor process engineering and laboratory management.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in chemical manufacturing.
