This is a Non-Exempt position. This position requires a Chemical Dependency Professional Licensee who is knowledgeable about the nature of chemical dependency, particularly in the context of Native Americans in order to provide effective and culturally appropriate chemical dependency services to individuals and their families. Clinician must provide support services for drug/alcohol addiction, be able to understand the theories, principles and techniques of substance abuse, preventions/intervention and after care counseling and be skilled in the application of these skills in a collaborative manner with other Chemical Dependency Professionals, members of other behavioral health disciplines, and any other outside agencies and providers as needed. Documented experience must indicate an understanding of the confidentiality of all records, materials, and communication concerning clients, including regulations promulgated by HIPAA and 45 CFR. The CDP Manager will provide supervision of clinical work completed. The Treatment Center Director is the administrative supervisor of this position. This position may provide leadership or supervision over other CDP's or other Tribal staff.
