This role will ensure a safe, accurate, and efficient work environment when making batches of chemical product. S/he will assist in all aspects of liquid line production and look to accomplish assigned tasks in a neat, orderly and timely fashion without unnecessary interruptions in the workflow. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
  • Detailed oriented with ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Certified forklift driver
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Standing for long periods.
  • Lifting up to 50-75 lbs.
  • Bending, stretching, and stooping.
  • Wear and maintain all required PPE and report all unsafe conditions

Responsibilities

  • Make batches for product that has more than two components.
  • Submit samples of raw material and finished product for quality control inspection and approval.
  • Monitor chemical inventory.
  • Recommend changes necessary to update and improve area.
  • Report any unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor.
  • Remove and properly dispose of empty drums.
  • Utilize forklift to load and unload delivery trucks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
