The Chemical and Nuclear Surety Analyst provides support to U.S.Army Nuclear and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Agenc (USANCA) to include study and assessment of USG, DoD, Joint, and Army Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and counter-proliferation guidance issues. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized engineering, scientific, technical, management, or related discipline
  • OR a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, National Security Studies, Area Studies, Biochemistry, Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or a related scientific, security or management field
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience:
  • Interacting with Service Staff, JS, and OSD organizations
  • Working AC treaty I&C issues at a guidance or operational level
  • Planning, directing, and managing complex projects/operations with multiple POCs
  • Clearance: TOP SECRET/SCI

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Information Management Including Historical Files of Significant Army Guidance Input to Treaty Negotiations, I&C planning, Reporting Procedures, and Training Materials and Plans to ensure 100% accurate valid, complete, and on-time CWC-required reporting
  • Support compilation and forwarding of periodic CWC-related data calls and reports, (e,g, CWC Portion of CRG Data Call CWC Annual Plan for Destruction of Chemical Weapon)
  • Coordinate the development of a new and update of the existing U.S. Army Plan for Responding to Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) Challenge Inspections (CI)
  • Coordinate the development of a new and update of the existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) – Challenge Inspection Support Staff (CISS) and Army Host team Representative (AHTR) / Staff.
