How You'll Make an Impact: As a Chemfree Pest Control Technician, you will service businesses and commercial accounts for various pests with professionalism and excellent customer service while providing proper treatments and solutions to address their concerns. No experience? No problem! ABC has a paid Pest Training program.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.
- High school diploma or GED desired
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Desired experience working with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines of your service route.
- Dependable and self-motivated with a desire to work year-round.
- Ability to work inside and/or outside for long periods of time, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
Nice To Haves
- Previous pest control experience a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Listen to customer’s concerns in regards to the pest control services provided and suggest proper treatments or solutions to address their concerns when necessary.
- Identify various pests, the source(s) and come up with a solution to eliminate and maintain a pest free environment, and make suggestions for prevention control.
- Apply chemicals and/or mix solutions in liquid, powders, or gases and use other forms of extermination techniques inside and around buildings to eliminate pests.
- Prioritize workload, work under pressure and handle irate customers and still maintain good composure.
- Maintain all requirements by TDA licensing authority and attend continuing education courses provided by ABC.
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times with customers, fellow employees and supervisors.
