About The Position

Our programs meet each individual where they are, providing compassionate, evidence-based care that addresses substance use disorders and prepares patients for long-term success. Whether through counseling, peer support, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), residential, PHP, IOP, or extended care programs, we offer a holistic approach to healing that encompasses the mind, body, and spirit.  We are seeking a Chef to join our team! Our nutrition team is an important part of our program. From making a client feel welcome with their first meal, supporting each clients’ dietary needs, to offering thoughtful meals. The right candidate will be personable and dependable and must be comfortable working as part of a team. You will be the creative and operational leader, oversee all aspects of food preparation, design and develop innovative menus, and lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment that prioritizes food safety and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or similar culinary leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, recipes, and menu development
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to manage kitchen staff and coordinate food service operations effectively
  • Formal culinary education or equivalent professional training

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments
  • Certification in food safety or culinary arts from recognized institutions
  • Demonstrated expertise in menu planning that balances creativity with cost control
  • Leadership experience in managing large kitchen teams
  • Familiarity with modern culinary trends and dietary considerations

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute diverse menus
  • Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely and high-quality service
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain food safety standards in compliance with health regulations
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote skill development, teamwork, and adherence to hygiene protocols
  • Collaborate with management to control food costs, optimize kitchen workflows, and implement new recipes or techniques
