About The Position
Chef $28.12 per hour as a permanent part-time employee Part-Time Role Seeking a casual to start ASAP while this team recruits for a permanent hire for Bundoora Positively impact the lives of Australia's most vulnerable Medirest is built on the foundation of trust, integrity and openness, we care passionately about the role we play in the lives of those within our care. THE POSITION Prepare, cook and serve meals at this Bundoora site Apply catering control principles; food safety, waste minimisation and cleaning Responsible for maintaining food safety documents Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy) Monday shift and Friday shift each week, with the option to pick up extra shifts THE PERSON Proximity to this worksite in the Melbourne suburb of Bundoora Knowledge of food hygiene & workplace health & safety protocols Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or another Chef qualification) NPC Police Check holder (or be willing to obtain a police check) THE BENEFITS 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all staff that meet a set of criteria Work within a team who enjoy providing excellent service Opportunities for internal transfer and promotion Immediate access to 100+ retail discounts It’s not just a job, you get to play a part in making a difference to those who need it most
Requirements
- Proximity to this worksite in the Melbourne suburb of Bundoora
