About The Position
Western Slope Health Center is looking for a Full-Time Chef for our AM Shift to join our supportive and collaborative team! This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while making a difference in the lives of our residents.
Requirements
- Experience in a skilled nursing setting is preferred (knowledge of Textures)
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of meals in large quantities, following menus and portion guidelines.
- Create special diets and pureed foods with accuracy and care.
- Ensure meals are appealing, safe, and served on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and work area.
- Record and monitor food temperatures.
- Assist with meal service and clean-up, including carts and cooking areas.
- Supervise or assist dietary staff, supporting teamwork and training.
- Collaborate with staff across departments to support resident care.
