About The Position

Chef needed for school food service program in the Metuchen, NJ area. Must have chef experience, K-12 culinay preferred. Full time 7 hours daily. Monday through Friday.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, and is creative with both presentation and new memu ideas. Must be able to pass a chef test.
Must be able to obtain proper ducumentation to work in schools.

• ServSafe® manager certificate.
• Able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all catering events for the school. Some travel may be involved.
• Able to work an occasional catering on a week night and weekend.
• Will provide training to the staff on compliance,presentation, and food quailty.
• Partially responsible for inventory and food orders.
