Job Preview at a Glance: Primary responsibility is to provide three meals per day to consumers who reside at the RRC facility. Responsible for contributing to and creating a recovery based environment. Possess the ability to facilitate special dietary plans As a SBH Chef your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner based on a planned menu. Basic kitchen maintenance including: Proper dating, organization, and rotation of food product. Cleaning and organization of counters, shelves, and storage space. Inventory of food product for weekly ordering. Labeling of food product for later prep and service. Will follow menus designed to meet basic nutritional guidelines, menus are prepared 4 weeks in advance. Should be involved in any discussions related to meals, kitchen or menu planning. Prepares for all required inspections making sure all areas are up to code and maintain a professional image. To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.
