Requirements

2 years' previous related food service experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extensive working knowledge of food preparation
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt and change in a fast paced environment
Good team work approach to daily tasks
Able to follow oral and written directions
Be able to lift 30 Lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
Must successfully pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

Ensures the team provides exceptional guest service at all times
Leads, motivates, and trains team members
Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service period
Execute recipes to the letter and assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
Portions food products prior to cooking according to recipe specifications
Prepares food by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling. cutting, and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry, or fish for culinary use
Follows all food safety and sanitation standards
Follows and completes production sheets, manages inventory, prepares the order for approval
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Able to meet deadlines in completion of daily workload
Set up and tear down of workstation
Polite and professional communication style
May select recipes per menu cycle, prepare bakery items, and receive inventory
Understands and utilizes FIFO
Performs other related duties as requested by the leadership team
