About The Position

We’re looking for Chef Manager who can help us deliver the best customer service and food experiences. Reporting to the Culinary Services Manager, you’ll take a hands-on approach in focusing on team development, culinary expertise, safety protocol, and client relations. Our Chef Manager will also play a key role in helping us meet budget requirements and execute company-delivered programs. Requirements

  • Requires 2 or more years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or full-service restaurant
  • Requires 2 or more years of management experience, preferrably in a union setting
  • Must be ServSafe Manager certified or willing to obtain within 30 days
  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
  • Requires experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems
  • Requires oral, reading and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily patient food service operations in compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Lead and support patient service staff to ensure meals are accurately prepared, assembled, and delivered in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain strong client and customer relationships that support partnership and business objectives.
  • Proactively identify client needs and communicate operational updates and performance outcomes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Aramark’s standard service model.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant environment for clients, customers, and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, regulations, and laws, including safety, health, wage, and hour requirements
  • Ensure team members are fully trained, competent, and equipped to execute their responsibilities.
