Job Summary We are seeking a growth-driven Chef Manager ready to lead, inspire, and elevate the dining experience at Holy Child School at Rosemont in Bryn Mawr, PA. This is more than a culinary role — it’s an opportunity to shape a dynamic culinary program and make a meaningful impact in a vibrant school community. As Chef Manager, you’ll take the lead in driving the success of both culinary excellence and food service operations, blending creativity, leadership, and operational savvy to deliver an outstanding dining experience every day.
Requirements
- Must have a working knowledge of HACCP
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Experience with exposition cooking needed
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in an education setting preferred
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- ServSafe Certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering, and receiving
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
