About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef Manager to support culinary operations at UT Health Tyler in Tyler, TX . This role is responsible for overseeing kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food production, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• a strong culinary background with the ability to produce and present a high quality standard of food
• menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends strong management skills and experience
• proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
• a proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems with little to no direction
• ServSafe Certified with proven working knowledge of HAACP
• Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
• Minimum Management Experience - 1 year

Nice To Haves

• C.E.C. (Certified Executive Chef) a plus

Responsibilities
