Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression) Monitors & ensures compliance of Food and Nutrition staff to operational standards to assure quality food service to patients, visitors and staff. Support colleagues with their daily duties including cooking, cleaning, and food delivery to patients. Manage daily production and execution of the food service operations of a senior living facility to ensure residents receive nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet regulatory dietary requirements while meeting the residences preferences. Supervise and support dietary staff, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and fostering a respectful, resident-focused work culture. Conduct annual performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support staff development and accountability. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CMS, state health codes) and internal policies related to food safety, sanitation, and infection control. Collaborate with administration and residents with menu selections to improve dining experience, creating a home like dining experience. Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to maintain high standards of resident satisfaction and nutritional value. Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining quality and compliance.
