Chef in Training, you would be responsible for preparing, maintaining and monitoring quality control for hot food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

  • Execute prep work and line cooking duties with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with kitchen standards.
  • Cook and plate menu items to specification during brunch and dinner service in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth service and accurate execution.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory following proper food‑safety procedures.
  • Follow all kitchen safety protocols and uphold brand and quality standards at all times.
  • Adapt to schedule variations, including weekends and holidays, and reliably report to shifts with dependable transportation.
