About The Position

This role will be responsible for the developing, managing and delivering CSA Group's standards education products including training courses, job aids, micro-credentials, and personnel certification programs. Collaborating closely with a lead Product Manager, the Manager oversees product development tasks after approval of the business case and manages the end-to-end project lifecycle. This includes creating project plans, analyzing data and processes, and ensuring effective communication and documentation. The role requires strong project management expertise (e.g., PMBOK, Agile), a solid understanding of CSA’s technologies and business processes, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting relationships. The Project Manager works with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, instructional designers, production teams, and marketing, to deliver projects on time and within scope. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills are essential, as is the ability to mentor students or interns as needed. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 to 7 years experience in project management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems.
  • Adept at working in tandem with product management to oversee a diverse portfolio of educational initiatives.
  • Capacity to synthesize information from various functions and departments to inform decision-making and project direction.

  • Education and training program development experience is an asset.
  • Proven expertise in project management methodologies and their practical application in educational product development is an asset.
  • Experience managing or supervising the activities of others.
  • Candidates with proficiency in French will be given special consideration.
  • For candidates hired for our Quebec office: Fluency in French is a requirement.
  • Fluency in English is a requirement in order to meet the needs of our clients outside Quebec.

  • Manages communications with digital innovation, customer service and marketing teams to support product launch and adoption.
  • Communicates in a clear manner (oral and written), with an appropriate level of detail for all situations and audiences.
  • Continually acquires and applies new knowledge and learning to improve job performance.
  • Seeks coaching in areas where techniques are rapidly evolving.
  • Develops detailed plans, organizes and leads meetings, tracks project milestones, and ensures all teams are aligned with the products scope, goals, and objectives.
  • Identifies potential risks early in the project, analyzing their impact, and developing strategies to mitigate them to minimize disruptions to the project's schedule, quality, and budget.
  • Identifies and gathers additional resources to supplement product content development as identified by the Instructional Design team.
  • Manages the activities of content development resources to develop high-quality technical and educational content, ensuring adherence to the scope of work and contracts.
  • Ensures that project deliverables meet the agreed-upon standards and satisfy client requirements, thereby maintaining the integrity of the project.
  • Prepares meeting notices, agendas, minutes, and supporting documents within identified project timelines and budgets as necessary.
  • Provides input/guidance/feedback on the execution of project tasks, where experience allows.
