About The Position

The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Chef de Partie to join the Nobu team! Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star, AAA 4-Diamond property is consistently ranked among the world's best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining. At Nobu, we are looking for a Chef de Partie with 3-5 years of Japanese Cooking experience and 2-3 years in a leadership role. Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $40.50 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, season, cook and test food items for consumption in food and beverage outlets
  • Perform supervisory duties to include, but not limited to, supervision of line cooks and acting in absence of lead chef
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation standards
  • Train, schedule and assign work and assist with evaluations of team members
