About The Position

We are seeking a Chef de Partie that prioritizes contribution to an environment of collaboration, harmony, and fun while delivering a vivid, dynamic, and engaging experience that is closely aligned with 'The Standard brand.' You will be open to learning and adapting to the unique vibe of tourists, members, and locals that have created the foundation for our culinary inspiration. You will be working with the Culinary Leadership Team of Chefs with the supervision of Lido and Belle Kitchens. You will be responsible for various aspects of kitchen management including expediting, quality control, training, hands-on support, and minimal daily reporting & analytics. You must develop complete product knowledge of all menus, recipes, and food presentation; to ensure all items are executed with consistent control and to standards. You will also ensure all back of the house areas are organized and clean as you will have the ability to prioritize, organize and delegate work assignments.

Requirements

  • Prior culinary school and/or kitchen experience in a similar restaurant/hospitality environment.
  • Prior kitchen supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to guide and train line staff.
  • Hold an active Food Handler's License Certification or obtain it within the first 30 days.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Physical ability to pull, push, move, carry, and lift at least 50 lbs.
