Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in culinary food service.
  • SNHD Health card.

Responsibilities

  • Prep and execute all menu items according to standards as directed by the Sous Chefs and Chefs.
  • Oversee kitchens, service, production, and line cooks in the absence of the Sous Chefs and Chefs.
  • Assess and direct the required work in any kitchens.
  • Write and cost menus as needed.
  • Order food items as directed by the Sous Chefs and Chefs.
  • Document menu changes, temperatures, and meeting information.
  • Attend required meetings such as Chef meetings and planning meetings.
  • Work independently at all stations in any kitchen without supervision.
  • Follow and execute all recipes without supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Maintain proper fire and ticket times.
  • Assist with replacing daily requisitions and rotating and storing them.
  • Restock dishes and silverware as required.
  • Carry out all reasonable requests by management.
