About The Position

The Chef de Cuisine at Le Méridien Dania Beach is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all culinary operations within the hotel. This position requires a culinary maestro who is passionate about creating extraordinary dining experiences and leading a talented team of chefs. The Chef de Cuisine will collaborate with the Executive Chef to manage menu creation, food preparation, and kitchen management, ensuring that every dish is a masterpiece and that the culinary team thrives in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of culinary leadership experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of cooking experience required.
  • College degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred.
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to understand and achieve financial goals.

  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
