COQODAQ, a new fried chicken concept from the Michelin-starred COTE Korean Steakhouse, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chef De Cuisine (CDC) to lead our award-winning hospitality team. Located just two blocks from our COTE NYC location, COQODAQ is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality and service, following the mantra of passion and profitability. The CDC will oversee all kitchen operations, menu planning, recipe development, and financial responsibilities, ensuring a profitable and stable operation while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. The Chef De Cuisine will be responsible for developing and implementing operating standards for the Culinary Department, including guidelines for stocking, ordering, and purchasing ingredients. The CDC will ensure that all menu items are prepared safely and efficiently, conducting regular checks for compliance with Department of Health (DOH) standards. Additionally, the CDC will collaborate with the Executive Chef and Corporate Chefs to oversee menu structure, pricing, and the development of featured items for special events. In terms of hospitality, the CDC will promote COQODAQ's core values, actively engage in service, and develop positive customer relationships. Financially, the CDC will develop and execute sales and profit plans, maximizing profitability through effective cost controls and vendor management. The role also includes overseeing daily restaurant administration, ensuring proper team member coverage, and maintaining a safe work environment. The CDC will participate in community events and uphold the company's corporate social responsibility goals, while also ensuring that all team members are educated on products and services offered at COQODAQ.
