About The Position

Great Full-Time position with regular hours! Aynsley Place is a small Assisted Living Community in Nashua, NH. We are locally owned and operated and committed to providing personalized service and care. We’re looking for Full- or Part-time Chef(s) to join our dedicated staff: 11a-7p schedule FT position - Friday-Tuesday PT option - F/S or S/M/T mix Experience required Freedom to be creative in the kitchen Relaxed atmosphere Passion for cooking Trade your late-night shifts for a more balanced life Let your culinary creativity flourish in a relaxed, appreciative atmosphere. About the position: This full-time role primarily involves lunch and dinner hours. You'll be part of a close-knit team serving a small assisted living community, with the opportunity to create meals that are not only nutritious but also appealing and tastefully crafted.

Requirements

• Prior cooking experience (5 years preferred)
• Enthusiasm and passion for culinary arts
• Positive attitude towards work and life
• Exceptional customer service skills
• A creative mind and hand in the kitchen
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Commitment to the safety and well-being of all individuals in the workplace
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday
• Adherence to the general health requirements set forth by our facility's policies

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals that are well-balanced, creative, and beautifully presented
• Adhering to dietary standards and restrictions, in coordination with the facility's dietitian
• Preparing food in accordance with sanitary regulations and our own established policies and procedures
• Ensuring the kitchen is maintained in a clean, safe manner and all supplies and equipment are in order
• Assisting with special events within the facility
• Serving our residents and their guests in a friendly, timely, and courteous manner
