About The Position

We are looking for a Cheese Utility Operator I in Hull, Iowa. The Cheese Utility Operator I develops and maintains a working knowledge of all plant positions to assist with personnel shortages thereby meeting manufacturing requirements in accordance with organization and customer needs. This position also coaches and provides leadership for less senior employees.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of related experience required.
• Manufacturing experience within a food processing facility preferred.
• Forklift Certification required; on-the-job training/certification provided.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions.
• Complete simple checklists and required documentation.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and adapt to a changing environment quickly.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others.
