About The Position

The Tower Sealer Palletizer works in the Cheese department rotating between three workstations: bagging finished cheese blocks, sealing of the cheese package and palletizing finished product.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage.
• Perform work independently as required.
• Knowledge with machines, tools, equipment and Lock out Tag out.

Responsibilities

• Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.
• Operate a forklift, moving cheese from production area to the warehouse cooler.
• Run Beta Vac / bag sealer with no leakers.
• Weigh blocks, place label tickets on blocks and boxes.
• Operate and validate metal detector.
• Operate boxer and palletizer (Robot).
• Tower operation.
• Maintain operating records (Block Counts).
• Perform necessary routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Master sanitation as needed.
