About The Position
The Cheese Clerk is responsible for preparing the Cheese department for store opening and closing, receiving and unloading merchandise, and ensuring product quality and condition. The role involves stocking, rotating, and facing products, building displays, cutting and wrapping cheese products, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the department. The Cheese Clerk also handles customer special orders, maintains accurate pricing and signage, and stays informed about current promotions and events. This position requires a commitment to customer service and compliance with company policies.
