About The Position

Starting Wage $20.04 2nd Shift 2:30pm-11pm 3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am 5 Days per week Benefits include - Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401K Job Duties and Responsibilities: Load product into brine cages in a timely and orderly fashion maximizing use of cage space and no damage to product Inspect cheese for non-conforming product, remove such product, return to rework in a timely manner Keep correct count of cheese on each layer of the cage Perform housekeeping duties as required Assist with form changes and table operations Assist with rework as needed Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment. Check and remove any leftover product in cage shelves before loading. Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment. Disassemble equipment for CIP and reassemble when finished. Change and clean brine filters as needed. Assist in training of new personnel. Assist in other production areas as required. Minimize water usage and eliminate the generation of wastewater within the scope of position. Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements Perform related duties as assigned. Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to use commercial English, grammar, and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, including decimals and fractions.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
