BAM! is looking for a Cheer Instructor to lead engaging, high-energy after-school cheer programs where students can build their confidence, coordination, and teamwork skills. Requirements
- 1-2 years of cheerleading experience as an instructor, coach, or team member (high school, college, or competitive-level experience preferred).
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring (coaching/teaching experience is preferred).
- Excellent class management skills and the ability to work effectively with students in grades K-8.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license or State ID.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 20-50 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Lead Cheer Classes: Teach cheerleading fundamentals, including basic stunts, tumbling, jumps, chants, and dance routines, tailored to the age and skill level of your students (grades K-8).
- Foster Teamwork: Encourage collaboration, sportsmanship, and confidence through positive reinforcement and team-building activities.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive environment where every student feels supported and valued.
- Represent BAM!: Deliver a fun and professional experience by implementing BAM!'s cheer program curriculum and maintaining our high standards for instruction and care.
