About The Position
ACTIVSTARS is seeking an enthusiastic Cheer Coach who is excited to work with young athletes and bring their cheer experience back into action. Ideal Candidate: Has previous cheerleading and/or coaching experience Enjoys working with children ages 415 Is positive, energetic, and can serve as a strong role model Is at least 18 years old Has reliable transportation Position Details: Part-time, one consistent evening per week (for example: every Tuesday evening) Coach three age groups (teams) in cheer basics, cheer dance, and pom routines Participate in three to four paid weekend events per semester (dates provided in advance) This position is ideal for college students, parents, and former cheerleaders who want to stay involved in the sport and make a positive impact. Great opportunity for someone who wants a fun, rewarding part-time role with competitive pay.
Requirements
- Has previous cheerleading and/or coaching experience
- Enjoys working with children ages 415

Responsibilities
- Preparing lesson plans and running weekly practices
- Teaching skills safely and effectively
- Choreographing routines and performance cheers
- Introducing basic stunting fundamentals
- Managing attendance and simple records
