POSITION OVERVIEW This is a full-time role within our Cheerleading & Tumbling Departments, reporting to our Owner & Company President. For this role, you’ll need to live in or near Central Arkansas and be willing to work on-site as well as commute to School Campuses to work with teams. Typical schedule for this role includes afternoon and evening practices Monday - Thursday evenings, Sundays afternoons during the School Year, weekend travel during competition season, and Daytime Hours working with School Teams and other tasks as assigned. MISSION The mission of the Cheerleading & Tumbling Coach is to develop technically strong, confident athletes while upholding a culture of excellence, accountability, and encouragement. This coach will play a critical role in elevating skill progression, improving competitive scores, mentoring athletes, and modeling professionalism to families and staff. Our coach must bring intensity to the mat and stability to the culture. The Coach will be a key asset to the Empire Kids team by remaining flexible in his/her role in coaching classes and teams at all levels and providing the best service possible to our clients and families. While weekly classes and instruction are certainly part of this position, the Coach’s most important responsibility is to uphold our mission of Building Pride, Courage, and Confidence in every child we serve while intently focusing on mental, physical, and emotional development and readiness of each athlete. Ultimately, this role exists to help Empire Kids build athletes who are strong in skill and strong in character — while helping the program grow in reputation, retention, and competitive success.
