About The Position

Load, unload, store, inventory and transport finished goods and supplies associated with packing and shipping of finished goods using forklift, slip fork, pallet jack or other equipment. Check accuracy of item type, quantity and quality of all finished goods and supplies against shipping or receiving documents.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift heavy weights (up to 100lbs)
• Read shipping orders
• Print legibly
• Perform arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply and divide 3-digit numbers)
• Have basic computer skills
• Able to successfully obtain a Riceland forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, store, inventory and transport finished goods and supplies associated with packing and shipping of finished goods using forklift, slip fork, pallet jack or other equipment.
• Check accuracy of item type, quantity and quality of all finished goods and supplies against shipping or receiving documents.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures.
• Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor.
• Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
