Responsibilities

• Quickly and accurately receive, verify, and scan incoming checks, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with our legal teams to ensure checks are applied correctly to cases or matters.
• Investigate and resolve any check application discrepancies.
• Use our CheckWriter and Salesforce (Litify) tools to manage checks.
• Keep ledgers balanced and records up to date.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and accounting standards.
• Record and manage outgoing payments and coordinate approvals with legal staff.
• Assist in clearing liens from client accounts and maintain organized financial records.
• Prepare reports to support management and audits.
• Handle deposits, refunds, and fund reissues accurately and efficiently.
